Utah Concealed Carry

The state of Utah has a more extensive concealed carry course than most, leading to Utah permits being recognized (called 'reciprocity') by many other states. You can apply for a Utah permit as an out-of-state resident, after taking our class.

*Note - if your home state is reciprocal to Utah [such as WA], you must first acquire your home state's permit before applying to Utah. However, you can take the class, just not send the application in.

You will leave this class with everything necessary to write a check to Utah ($51) and mail your packet.

At the time of this writing, a WA resident having permits in Washington and Utah, can legally carry concealed in the following states:
AL, AK, AZ, AR, DE, GA, ID, IN, IA, KA, KY, LA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NC, ND, OH, OK, PE, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.

Additional States:

Oregon
Oregon offers out of state permits to residents of neighboring states only. They require a safety class, and a coverage of state laws. If you desire to add Oregon to the Utah class, it is $10 additional, and about another 30 minutes. 

You will leave with everything you need to apply for Oregon permits, which must be done in person at an OR Sheriff's Office. Their cost is $60

Arizona
Although Arizona recently passed a Constitutional Carry law (allowing anyone over 21 years of age, who is legally allowed to possess a firearm, to carry concealed), they still issue out-of-state resident permits, which are honored by New Mexico (unlike WA, UT, and OR).

If you desire to add Arizona to the Utah class, it is $10 additional, and about another 30 minutes. You will leave this class with everything necessary to write a check to Arizona ($60) and mail your packet.

If you want to carry in New Mexico, and have no need for Florida, an Arizona permit is the cheaper route.

Florida
Similar to Arizona, florida has an out-of-state permit process, and adds both Florida and New Mexico.

If you desire to add Florida to the Utah class, it is $10 additional, and about another 30 minutes. You will leave this class with everything necessary to write a check to Florida ($112) and mail your packet.
